Injuries at the World cup

WORLD CUP 2010 at South Africa
Few days are left for the world cup but there is a little worry for all the fans as many players have had been out in recent weeks due to injury.
1. David Beckham
The former captain of england was all geared up for the worldcup but due to the rupture of Achilles during march ruled him out of the Squad.
2. Rio Ferdinand
The current skipper had his dreams shattered when he had a knee injury at the training session which ruled him out of the world cup.
Both the players Rio and beck will still be with the team to have a moral boost and Capello will utilize their experience.
3. Michael Ballack
Germany will loose their inspirational captain Ballack as he suffered a damage to the right ankle in FA cup which ruled him out of the World cup.
4. Michael Essien
Another Chelsea player out of world cup is Essien. Ghana has lost their power house in january due knee injury which ruled out of the world cup
5. Nani
After having an impressive season with manutd the Portugal winger was out of world cup, as he suffered an injury to the left clavicle which ruled him out of the World.
Apart from this players in the likes of Jose bosingwa of portugal, and Diarra of france were also out of world cup.
